SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Djallel Eddine Boubiche received a Ph.D. degree in computer science from UHLB University, Algeria, in 2013 and the HDR Diploma (Habilitation to conduct research) degree from the University of Batna 2, Algeria, in 2015. He is currently a Full Professor with the Technical Science Department, University of Batna 2; he is also a member of the LaSTIC Laboratory of the Computer Science Department. Dr. Boubiche’s research interests include sensor networks, wireless communication, embedded smart systems, mobile crowd sensing, multi-UAV systems, big data, and security. His research has been published in several well-known international journals, such as Sensors, Future Generation Computer Systems, Computers in Human Behavior, IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE Access, Journal of Computer Science and Technology, International Journal of Sensor Networks, etc. Dr. Boubiche was a Guest Editor in several international journals, such as the International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing, International Journal of Computational Science and Engineering, and IEEE Communications Magazine. He frequently serves as a program committee member (ICACIS’12, ICCMIT’15, ECARS’15, ISNCC’16), a program chair (AWICT’15, IPAC’15), and a general chair and co-general chair (BDAW’16, ICC’16).
